WHAT WE DO
At Hand to Hand Development Initiative, we deliver integrated programs that remove barriers to education, protect vulnerable children, and strengthen families to build resilient, self-reliant communities.
We ensure vulnerable children stay in school by providing essential learning materials, school sponsorship, and mentorship that promotes consistent attendance and academic success.
We provide safe shelter, nutrition, healthcare access, and psychosocial support to restore stability, dignity, and long-term protection for vulnerable children.
We strengthen households through economic empowerment initiatives, agricultural support, savings groups, and community advocacy that promote sustainable development and shared responsibility for child welfare.

DESPITE OUR ONGOING WORK, THE CHALLENGES STILL EXIST
Limited School Infrastructure – Across our operational area, children still learn under trees or in temporary structures due to lack of proper classrooms.
Extreme Household Poverty – Many families struggle to meet basic needs, making consistent education difficult.
Children with Disabilities – Limited access to inclusive education, assistive devices, and specialized support services.
Street-Connected Children – Some children lack stable homes and protection, increasing vulnerability to exploitation.
Food Insecurity & Poor Nutrition – Many households face irregular meals, affecting children’s health and school performance.
Inadequate Safe Shelter – Overcrowded and unsafe living conditions continue to expose children to risk.
These realities highlight the urgent need for expanded partnerships and sustainable investment.
